Michael J. Davey

Michael J. Davey, 74, of Toledo passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born April 29, 1943 in Akron, Ohio the son of James and Mary Jane (Glynn) Davey.

Michael served in the United States Army from 1969-1974. He was very involved in the American Legion and served as Past Commander of Sandusky American Legion Post 83. He was also very involved in the Fremont American Legion Post 121, and the Buckeye Boys State Program. He was also a member of the Exchange Club.

He is survived by his two sons: Kevin (Joshua) Davey of Cleveland, Shaun (Jaclyn) Davey of Chesterland; and his grandson, Ethan Shaun Davey.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Davey.

Friends will be received on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from Noon until a memorial service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens at a later date.
