Northern Ohio Monuments

In 1986 Brian & Lisa Foos established Northern Ohio Monuments to fulfill the need they saw in the area for compassionate care in memorial selections.  After the death of Lisa’s mother they were barraged by letters, phone calls and even a sales man waiting at the house after the funeral.  None of this seemed right.  Embarking in a different direction Northern Ohio Monuments was founded and has never made sales calls or even sent brochures by mail. The quality and unique designs we make, along with recommendations from our customers has grown the company to what it is today.  We are one of the largest monument company’s between Toledo and Cleveland.  

In 2015 all new computerized equipment was purchased to help keep up with growing demand.  An impact etcher was added that same year.  It’s used to make intricate portraits and designs on granite.  We chose an impact etcher verses a laser due to the superior 3D look of the designs.  It is the largest impact etcher in Northern Ohio. 

Since we own and operate our own state of the art monument fabrication facility at 717 West Main St, Bellevue, OH 44811.  You can rest assured that your memorial will be perfect.  Since we actually do everything from design, fabrication and setting your memorial we control the quality every step of the way.  By completing all the steps ourselves the middlemen and other funeral homes commissions are cut out, we can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

Other funeral homes are mere salesmen operating on commissions, some as high as 50%. They simply send your order to a fabricator miles away and forget about it.  We realize the importance and coordinate it through the shop every step of the way.  We are seasoned experts on design and granite types and can best guide you through the entire process
