Eileen Wise

Eileen M. Wise, age 95 of rural Republic, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was born November 8, 1921 in Frank OH, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Wurm) Schneider, Sr.

She married Walter W. Wise at St. Michael Church in Frank, OH, on September 6, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1981.

She was a former member of Reed Assumption Church, and currently was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Gaspar Altar Rosary Society.

Eileen enjoyed playing euchre, farming with her husband, cooking and baking, and enjoyed her children and grandchildren most of all.

Eileen is survived by her sons: Herb Wise (Mary) of Attica, Kenneth Wise of Delphos; five daughters: Marilyn Falter (Eldon) of Bellevue, Darlene Rufener of Willard, Linda Barker (Gary) of Akron, Charlene Cullen (Douglas) of Castalia, Gladys Hauler (Dennis) of Monroeville; twenty-two grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and a brother, Eugene Schneider of Bellevue. Also, good friend Charles Fruth of Tiffin.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mary (Noonan) Wise, brothers: Urban Sr., Arnold, Gerald, Louis Jr.; sisters: Esther Brandt, Alma Leis, Lucille Schneider, and Anita Miller.

Friends will be received Friday, October 13, 2017, from 9:00am to 11:30am at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH. A funeral Mass will be held at noon at St. Gaspar Del Bufalo, 16209 Co Rd 46, Bellevue, OH 44811, following the visitation.
