Vincent Wise

Vincent J. Wise, Bellevue died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Willows of Bellevue.  He was born September 27, 1930 in Reed Township, the son of Joseph & Esther (Brown) Wise.

Vincent served in the Army in the Korean War.  He was a retired auto worker from New Departure, Sandusky.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and cooking.  Vincent was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, Marywood.

He is survived by his wife, Pat (Murphy) Wise whom he married on October 17, 1959 at Immaculate Conception Church; sons John (Carlyn) Wise, Huron, OH and Joe (Raylene) Wise, Berea, OH; daughter Sue (Mike) Ward, McCutchenville, OH; 7 grandchildren, Jacob Wise, Aaron Wise, Christopher Wise, Michaela Ward, Brian Ward, Jaimee (Brian) Fonseca and Nicolle (Craig) Varner, 6 great grandchildren and sister Eileen Reinhart, Tiffin, OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Walter Wise, Richard Wise, Florence Alt, Eugene Wise, and Theresa Proctor.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH.  Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12 noon at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 E. CR 46, Bellevue, OH  44811.  Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
