William B. Metz Jr.

William B. Metz Jr, 80, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, January 14, 2023 at the Parkview Care Center in Fremont.  He was born February 19, 1943 in Fremont the son of William B. Metz Sr. and Mary Tallmadge.  

Bill worked in Fremont, at the Fremont Foundry and retired from Aeroquip Inoac.  Bill was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1960-1966.  He was a member of Eagles Aerie 490, and enjoyed bowling in various leagues.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie S. (Lance) whom he married June 16, 1984 in Bellevue; son, Scott (Bettie) Metz of Sandusky; daughter, Tammy Metz of Fremont; and brothers, Dennis Metz and David Metz, both of Fremont.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff Metz; and brother, Ronald Metz.

At William’s request, there will be no services.  Foos and Foos Funeral Service, Bellevue is assisting with arrangements.
