Obituary
William “Bill” Humes, 66, of Green Springs passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born December 1, 1955 in Bellevue the son of Robert and Phyllis (King) Humes.
Bill enjoyed fishing, peaceful moments by a fire, and watching all types of movies. He also liked collecting swords along with finding all different types of odd and interesting things. He was extremely intelligent and could answer anything that someone came to him about. Bill was a solid foundation within his family. He was loved and highly respected by many and will be deeply missed.
Bill is survived by his brother, Robert (Connie) Humes II; nephews: Robert (Annette) Humes III, Ryan Bockbrader, Thomas Bockbrader, and Tai Nichols; nieces: Jennifer Reichenbach and Krystal Bockbrader; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret (Humes) Bockbrader.
Private services will be observed. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, is assisting the family with arrangements.
