Wes Slone

Wes Slone, 48, of Green Springs, received his wings in Heaven Saturday, July 12, 2025 at The Cleveland Clinic.  He was born October 14, 1976 in Sandusky, Ohio the son of Bobbie and Rita Mae (Thornsberry) Slone.

 Wes was a special soul here, to know him made you blessed. He loved his friends and family.

Wes and Nichole “Niki” (Fought) Slone, were ordained by the Heavens on July 2, 2011 in Bellevue.  She survives along with other living family including: Bobbie, Blake, Brynn Slone. Graelynn May, Granddaughter & Our New one on the way! Brothers: Michael, Stacy, Michael & Jason Slone; and multiple Nieces & Nephews, Aunts and Uncles; Our Friends are a chosen family, we pray they know that too.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leslie “Les” Slone.

Friends will be received on Friday, July 18 from 4-7 pm at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde.  Additional services will be provided by Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Hindman Chapel.  Burial will be Friday, July 25 in Bates-Thornsberry Cemetery - Kite, Kentucky at 5 pm.
