Warren G. Robinson, age 80 of Fremont, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, OH. Warren was born March 4, 1946, in Lloyd County, KY, the son of the late Wallace E. Robinson, Sr. and Verna (Carroll) Robinson.
Warren proudly served his country in the United States Army with the 173rd Airborne Brigade during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he remained active in his community as a member of the Clyde VFW, a former member of the Clyde Moose Lodge, and a dedicated member of the United Auto Workers (UAW). A faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clyde, Warren valued both his faith and the friendships he built throughout his life.
A passionate baseball fan, Warren could often be found cheering on his beloved Cleveland Guardians and sharing his extensive knowledge and love of the game with others. For many years, he dedicated his time to coaching Pony League baseball, leaving a lasting impact on countless young athletes. He also possessed a deep appreciation for music, finding joy and comfort in its ability to bring people together.
One of Warren's greatest blessings was his family. He married, Charlene Chill, in November of 1968, and together they raised four children. Warren's unwavering devotion to his family, his service to his country, and his commitment to his community will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Warren is survived by his son, Lawrence S. (Kristi) Robinson of Marion; daughters: Chantel Robinson of Clyde, and Crystal (Robinson) Nyomo of Fremont; grandchildren: Haylie Robinson (Kyle McDaniel), Logan (Jennifer) Robinson, Levi Robinson, Austin Meyers, Dillon Nyomo, R. Beau Rutschow, Alexis (Tyler) West, and Katelyn Teschner; 8 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Emma Robinson of Fostoria, Glenda Robinson of Tiffin, and Mary Lou Hamilton of Fostoria.
