Warren "Mac" McNeely

Warren J. “Mac” McNeely, age 63, of Bellevue, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his residence. He was born to the late Willie and Eloise S. McNeely on April 18, 1960 in Anchorage, AK. On March 2, 1992 he was wed to Cathy A. Counts who preceded him in death on March 20, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Kingston Platt, as well as his parents.

Mac formerly worked in manufacturing. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from June 1980 to March of 1992. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed supporting the Bellevue Redmen Athletic Teams throughout the years. Mac was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed.

Mac is survived by his three sons: Jermaine (Mandi) Platt, Jordan (Karleigh) McNeely, and Joshua (Ivett) Benitez-McNeely; nine grandchildren: Jayce, Maddox, Duke, Geovanny, Makenna, Daxton, Quinn, Zane and Alaia; He also leaves to cherish his memory six siblings: Ricardo “Rick” (Ann) McNeely, Gary McNeely, Gail (Patrick) Garrett, Wayne (Annie) McNeely, Brenda McNeely and Sabrina Jemison; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: John (Bonnie) Counts and Linda (Marc) Staley; uncle, Rev. A.D. McNeely; three aunts, Maczinnia (Robert) Miller, Linda Liggens, and Annie R. Hention and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm until a memorial service begins at 4:00pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, OH 44811.  Inurnment of cremated remains will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, OH.
