Wanda (Starr) Dirnberg

Wanda Kay Dirnberg (Starr), age 64, of Clyde, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at her residence. Wanda was born on August 21, 1960 in Painesville, KY, the daughter of the late Jessie and Dolly (Miller) Starr.

Wanda was a woman with a heart of gold and loved her family deeply. She had a passion for gardening and loved all flowers. Her favorite thing to do was feed her birds and squirrels in the front yard. Wanda enjoyed watching the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Guardians.  The Amish Country, the Marblehead Lighthouse, the casino, all fairs and festivals were some of her favorite places to visit. She enjoyed family barbecues and dinners with all of her friends and families. Wanda had a passion of always helping others and retired from being an STNA after 22 years. Her smile and laugh could light up a room no matter where she was. There is no doubt that she will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched. 

Wanda is survived by her husband, Ronald Dirnberg, whom she married on September 21, 1983; children, Shawn (Krystal) Dirnberg of Clyde, Harold (Leslie) Dirnberg of Clyde, Rhonda Williams of Clyde, Sierra (Jay) Fox of Oak Harbor, and Kimberley Brengartner of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Holly, Aubrey, Alex, Heather, Skylit, Korbin, Everest, Ashley, Michael, Adam, Nathan, Sara, Kendra, Annie, Zachariah, Haedin, Brian, A.J., Brittany, and Shawna; many great grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Rita) Starr of Ironton, OH, Shirlene DeCant of Woodville, and Sue Glenn. 

In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her daughters, Tracy Pollard and Tammy Dirnberg; and grandchild, Bobby Dirnberg. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 1:00 until a funeral service begins at 3:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
