Thomas E. Albrycht, 81, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at The Cleveland Clinic. He was born March 4, 1943 in Bristol, CT the son of John and Sophie (Wojtowicz) Albrycht.
Tom served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. After his discharge he was employed by the Ford Motor Company until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of UAW local 1216 and Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and baking. Most of all, he was a devoted grandfather..
Tom married Karen C. (Tracy) Albrycht on January 17, 1970 at Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue. She survives along with their son, Edward Albrycht of Huron; daughters, Tracy (Bruce) Boettcher of Mississippi and Tammy (Shane) Albrycht-Risk of Sandusky; 9 grandchildren; and three sisters: Barbara Couts of Westerville, Diane Boes of Okemos, MI, and Ann Salvotore of Dublin.
In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie Coleman; and brother, Joseph Albrycht.
Friends will be received on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial with military honors will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.
