Tamara S. Reitz

Tamara (Tammy) S. Reitz, age 58 of Columbus, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH after a brief battle with cancer. She was born September 11, 1965, in Bellevue, OH, the daughter of Richard E. and Roberta (McCurdy) Reitz.

Tammy was a devoted sister, aunt, cousin, and niece. She was very passionate about knowing and sharing her family’s history along with attending family reunions. If you needed to know someone’s birthdate, anniversary or address, Tammy was the one to call. She was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed the thrill of visiting local amusement parks with her cousins. In her free time, she enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting, creating many beautiful and unique pieces for her loved ones.   

Tammy is survived by her sisters: Diane (Vincent) DeBlase of Bellevue, and Deborah (Douglas) McDougall; nieces and nephews: Joseph (Emily) DeBlase, Hannah (Alex Payvandi) DeBlase, Olivia McDougall, and Miranda McDougall; and great-nephew, Elias DeBlase.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Tammy will be held privately.
