Sylvia Walters, 85 of Bellevue, OH passed away peacefully on November 11, after a brief illness. Sylvia was born May 11, 1937 in Bellevue, Ohio, the daughter of Phillip and Elsie (Heyman) Seel.
Sylvia graduated from Bellevue High School in 1955, where she met the love of her life, Larry. They were married December 23, 1956 and shared over 70 years of life together.
One of Sylvia’s greatest joys in life was caring for her daughter, Kori. She spent the last 49 years putting Kori first, which is a true testament to Sylvia’s love, graciousness, and passion for helping others. A strong and quick witted woman, Sylvia was never one to shy away from giving you a scolding when misbehaving or a big hug when needed.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Larry; sons: Chris (Toni) Walters and Kip Walters; daughter: Kori Walters; daughter-in-law: Heather Walters; grandchildren: Justin, Kristi, Zach, Mandi, Kurt, Alexis, and Kalub; great-grandchildren: Caiden, Collin, Madison, Tate, Greyson, Weston, Duke, and Cash.
She is preceded in death by many family members, including her son, Casey Walters and grandson, Casey Walters.
A private family service will be held with burial following at St. Paul Cemetery in Lyme Township.
