Steven E. Martin

Steven E. Martin, age 66 of Fremont, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home. Steve was born June 11, 1959, in Sandusky, OH, the son of Beatrice Ann (Gibbs) Martin and the late Lester Edward Martin.

Steve will be remembered for his kind and helpful nature. He truly loved helping people and was always willing to lend a hand whenever someone needed it. His caring heart made a lasting impression on those who knew him.

He also enjoyed riding his bike and spending time outdoors. One of Steve’s favorite simple pleasures was eating good food, something he always looked forward to and enjoyed.

Steve will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, and the simple things that brought him happiness.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his siblings: Mary (Tim) Craig of Green Springs, Doug Martin of Cromwell, IN, and Deb Hatfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Steve is preceded in death by his father.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 11:00am until a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Bakertown Cemetery.
