Steven Gallagher Obituary

Steven Gallagher, 64, of Clyde, went home to the Lord surrounded by his family in Sandusky on November 28, 2021. Steven was born December 11, 1956 in Sandusky the son of Glenn and Arvilla (Ryan) Gallagher.

Steve was a journeyman lineman for Clyde Light & Power for 30 years. He retired in May 2020. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed camping, kayaking, and traveling. In his spare time, he fixed numerous sewing machines.

Steven married Tracie (Mahnke) Young on November 24, 2007 in Clyde; She survives along with his daughters, Mandy Gallagher of Fremont, Shannon Gallagher of Columbus, Amanda (Anthony) Young-McElya of Toledo, and Riviera (Evan Pucher) Young of Akron; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and brother, Eugene “Butch” Gallagher of Sandusky.

In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara J. (Griffin) Gallagher.

A Celebration of Life will be announced in the spring. Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Clyde is assisting the family with arrangements.
