Steven J. "Rudy" Frasure

Steven J. “Rudy” Frasure, 65, of Fremont passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at his home.  He was born March 21, 1954 in Bellevue, Ohio the son of James Frasure and Carolyn (Myers) Rohrbacher.

Steven was the world to his wife and the rock of the family. Whether you had questions, problems, or traveling anywhere in the US, Steven helped out by providing guidance, answers, and/or the research necessary to make sure he was giving you the right direction. Steven was the purest meaning of a great man by instilling honor, loyalty and teaching his children and grandchildren the meaning of a backbone. Steven truly believed in his family and what that word should mean. His greatest joy in his world was sitting at the table at family functions and just enjoy his kids and grandkids next to his wife, Vicky.

If you ever cross paths with Steven you quickly learned he was a very positive man, who stood behind his word. Steven approached life with the understanding that best thing you could do is control what you could control because at the end of the day, the sun comes and the sun goes down, no matter what.  

Steve is survived by his wife, Vicky (Bogner), whom he married on February 25, 1978 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue; six children: Jenifer (Erik) Frasure of Fremont, Zachariah (Misty) Frasure of Senecaville, Ohio, Nathaniel (Lori) Frasure of Pawtucket, RI, Stacy (Bryce) Frasure of Fremont, Leslie (Gilberto) Frasure of Bettsville, and Seth (Kylee) Frasure of Fremont; 13 Grandchildren: Talyssa, Jayla, Jacoby, Aurora, Kyndra, Janessa, Jazmyn, Logan, Alex, Caesar, Christian, Kollin, and Konner; and his siblings: Deb (Casey) Didion of Bellevue, Rick (Pat) Rohrbacher of Bellevue, Jeff Frasure of Findlay, and Michelle Frasure of Findlay.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Rohrbacher; stepfather, “Buck” Rohrbacher; grandmother, Evelyn Myers; aunt & uncle, Pat and Gary Hottinger; and grandson, Terrance Atkins Jr.

Friends will be received on Monday, February 24, 2020 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
