Steven S. Burroughs, age 67 of Bellevue, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022, at his home. Steven was born December 8, 1954, in Bellevue, the son of the late George W. and Mary JoAnn (Shoup) Burroughs.
Steven owned and operated Burroughs Framing Inc. and The General Storage Co. He was a strong-willed man who wasn’t afraid to stand his ground or speak his mind. He enjoyed hunting and being on the water: boating, fishing, and scuba diving. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Steven is survived by his wife, Becky Burroughs (Walters), whom he married on March 30, 1999 in Queensland, Australia; son, Wesley Burroughs of Clyde; daughter, Sadie (Paul) Rogers of Clyde; step-sons: Ryan (Ashley Quinn) Irons of Westerville, OH, Lukas Irons of Springfield, OH, and Aaron (Brandy) Irons of Marengo, OH; grandchildren: Cade, Jarrett, Jenna, Zander, Jackson, Ian, Mia, Scarlett, Sienna, Louis, Clayton, Dean, and Blake; and brothers: Randall (Robin) Burroughs of Findlay, and Michael (Lou Ann) Burroughs of Clyde.
In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by his brother, David Burroughs, and grandson, Christian Irons.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at Bellevue Assembly of God Church, 770 Kilbourne St., Bellevue.
