Steve “Tank” Schoen, 66, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at The Bellevue Hospital. He was born May 11, 1957, in Bellevue, the son of N. Michael “Mick” and Joanne (Gerhardstein) Schoen.
Tank owned and operated Schoen’s Water Hauling in Bellevue along with farming his entire career. He was a lifetime member of Eagles 490 in Bellevue.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Heibertshausen) whom he married July 13, 1991 in Bellevue; children: Natalie J. (Jeremy) Martin, Karen (Frank) Harvey, and Brian Daniel, all of Bellevue; grandchildren: Jailen (Travis), Alyvia, Wyatt; great grandchildren: Carson and Jaxson; brothers: Michael (Debbie) Schoen of Tiffin, Marc (Marianne) Schoen of Bellevue, Daniel (Renee) Schoen of Bellevue, and Rodger (Angela) Schoen of Bellevue; sisters: Susan Schoen of Columbus, Leigh Ann (Larry Stein) Schoen of Tiffin, Patricia Schoen of Columbus, and Joan (Mark) Kaufman of Bellevue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Schoen.
At Tank’s request, private services will be observed. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
