Stella Mae Parks

Stella Parks, 83, of Bellevue passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at Majestic Care of Clyde.  She was born March 24, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Maines) Smith.  

Stella married Charles L. Parks on October 28, 1960 in Clyde; He preceded her in death in 2014.

Stella was a devoted homemaker who lovingly cared for her two children. She found joy in listening to music, singing, and completing puzzles. She also loved spending time with her family, playing cards with friends and family, and going to church.

She is survived by her son, Charles D. (Grace) Parks of Clyde; daughter, Rita Parks-Moore of Bellevue; 6 grandchildren: Charles D. Parks Jr., Lawrence Dwight Moore Jr., Richard Garcia, Kathy Garcia, Sandy Garcia, and Jessica Garcia; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Melissa) Smith and Larry (Laura) Smith; and sisters, Virgie Sherwood, Ruth Wilson, Deb Cantu, and Linda Parks.

In addition to her parents and husband, Stella is preceded in death by her great grandson, Elijah Sherman-Parks; brother, Ralph Smith; and sisters, Elsie Meyer and Sandy Smith.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 25 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at Noon at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at York Chapel Cemetery.
