Stefanie Rich

Stefanie Rich, 40, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, following a nine-year battle with cancer.  She was born April 14, 1982, in Findlay, Ohio, the daughter of Felix Torres and Brenda (Cavanaugh) Spence.

Stefanie was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Owens Community College where she earned an associate degree in Nursing and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Chamberlain College of Nursing.  Stefanie worked for Avita Health Systems as an Infection Control Nurse throughout Galion, Bucyrus, and Ontario.  Stefanie loved family and was a devoted mother to her children and cherished the time she spent with them.

She married Ed Rich on April 27, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV; He survives along with their two children: Addison Rich and Eddison Rich; her mother, Brenda (Rick) Spence of Arcadia; father, Felix Torres of Bowling Green; maternal grandmother, Jan Cavanaugh; brother, Joshua (Joy) Torres and children Felix, Lola, Zoe, and Evie of Bowling Green; sister, Nicole Torres of Arcadia; step-siblings, Lindsay Sanders of Wapakoneta and Dustin Spence of Rawson; and father and mother-in-law, John and Darlene Rich of Bellevue and sister-in-law Jen (Josh) Meyer and their children Drake and Mia of Sandusky.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Al and Emma Torres, and maternal grandfather, Michael Cavanaugh.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 2 -7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A wake service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
