Scott Rachul

Scott Rachul, age 64, of Bellevue, OH, passed away on June 20, 2025, at The Bellevue Hospital. Scott was born on August 26, 1960, the son of the late Alfred and Jane (Gallagher) Rachul.

In his spare time, Scott loved to fish, hunt, and watch NASCAR and football. He was a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. Known for his storytelling and sense of humor, Scott was always ready with a joke. He also had a special love for riding his motorcycle.

Scott is survived by his wife of 28 years, Theresa (Hoover-Holbrook) Rachul, whom he married on August 23, 1996, in Huron, OH; daughter, Samantha (Peyton Nestor) Kissel; sister, Diane Williford Beck; sisters-in-law, Junnie (Ken) Valentine, Hattie (Jamie) Dingess, and Judy Bombard; brother-in-law, Shane Holbrook; father-in-law, Jerry Holbrook; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Scott is preceded in death by his brother, John Bombard; sister, Marilyn Jackson; brother-in-law, Wayne Jackson; nephew, Wayne Jackson Jr.; and mother-in-law Betty Holbrook.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
