Sarah J. (Wireman) Lowery

Sarah J. Lowery, age 79 of Clyde, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Green Springs, OH. She was born August 22, 1943, in Anderson, IN, the daughter of the late Charles and Tennessee Wireman (Ingram).

To Sarah, God and her family meant the world to her. She loved to cook and shared her love in that way. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body, and was well loved by all who met her.

Sarah is survived by her son, Troy Lowery of Clyde; daughter, Chris (Mark) Gierhart of Fremont; grandchildren: Adam (Lisa), Troy Jr, Tyler, Paige, Addison, Ryan, and Victoria; great-grandchildren: Uriyah and Kingston; brother, Tom (Bertha) Wireman of Norwalk; and sisters: Joyce Wireman Shipley of Piketon, OH, Sue Brock of New London, OH, and Della Kidd of Roseville, MI.

In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell Lowery; step-children: Sandy Reynolds, Nancy Volz, and David Lowery; and siblings: Luther Bailey, Norman Bailey, Ray Bailey, Ed Wireman, Charlene Conley, Eva Sanford, David Wireman, Bill Wireman, and Highley Caldwell.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 10:00am until a memorial service beginning at 12:00pm, noon, at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
