Sally J. Norman, 75, of Bellevue passed away surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of March 13, 2025 at The Willows at Willard. She was born November 11, 1949 in Norwalk the daughter of John J. Weinert and Iva-Lee (Wilde) Osterling.
Sally graduated from Norwalk High School in 1968. She worked at Norwalk Furniture, Firelands Federal Credit Union, and NOMS throughout her career.
She thoroughly enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and cheering on the Bellevue Redmen. She enjoyed gardening, mowing, birdwatching, baking, and trying to master Tom’s Italian cooking.
She looked forward to having coffee with her girlfriends at Bassett’s Market where she frequently bragged about her kids and grandchildren. Sally was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Tom; children: Tommy (Jennifer) Norman, Brian (Jill) Norman, Stacey Norman, & Amanda (Herb) Sorenson; grandchildren: Alexis, Ryan, Calista, Grace & Trenton; sister: Nancy (Bob) Stewart; brother, Ed Weinert; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her fur babies, Willow and Sophia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Max Osterling.
The family would like to thank The Bellevue Hospital, University Hospitals - Cleveland, and the Willows at Willard for the excellent care they provided. Also a special thank you to all the family and friends who have reached out to support during this difficult time.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 4-7 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
