Ruth E. Milleson, age 90 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, OH. Ruth was born December 14, 1930 in Ruff Creek, PA, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lenna (Aiklin) Phillips.
Our mom is running the streets of gold! She had dealt with Polio since the age of 13 years old, and didn’t get to play like most children her age. She was in and out of the hospital for 3 years. We truly believe she had been a miracle survivor throughout her life to overcome the boundaries she had and still praise the Lord for all she was able to do. She was a very strong, intelligent wife and mother that always put her family first.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Richard Milleson, whom she married March 3, 1956 in Bristolville, OH; children: Keith (Carrie) Milleson of Germantown, OH, Dennis (Holly) Milleson of Gibsonburg, and Pamela (Lee) Sumner of Clyde; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Milleson; great-grandson, Kade Sumner; and siblings: Roy, Marie, Jean, Chester, and Margie.
Friends will be received Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00am until a funeral service beginning at 11:00am at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made in Ruth’s honor to Grace Baptist Church in Oak Harbor, 325 Toussaint-Portage Rd, Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
