Ruth Ann Cenkus

Ruth Ann Cenkus (Surratt), age 80 of Clyde, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her home. Ruth was born May 18, 1940 in Barton, OH the daughter of the late Roy Arnold and Elva (Robson) Surratt.

Ruth was a devoted member of the Clyde First United Methodist Church. She had a passion for cooking and was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Cleveland Indians and the Clyde Fliers.

Ruth is survived by her children: Richard Cenkus of Clyde, Christy Miller of Bellevue, and James (Carla) Cenkus of Huron; grandchildren: Chelsea, Lee, Rachael, Megan, Luke, Charlotte, and Candace; several great-grandchildren; and siblings: Erma, Mary, Dorothy, Martha, Madelyn, Maxine, Carolyn, and Roy.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 10:00am at Clyde First United Methodist Church, 510 West Maple Street, Clyde, OH  43410. Masks and social distancing are required at the service.
