Rodney Shaull, age 79 of Clyde, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at The Bellevue Hospital. Rodney was born December 5, 1942, in Fremont, the son of the late Hal Eugene, Sr. and Jeanne (Taylor) Shaull.
Rodney was a Baptist minister that faithfully served his Lord from the pulpit until 2017. He also served his country in the United States Navy from 1960-1964. He was an avid bowler from 1978-1994 and loved his junior bowlers. He also enjoyed golfing with his brothers and son-in-law. He especially loved his grandbabies and great grandbabies.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Kim (Williams) Shaull; children: Rodney R. “Bubba” Shaull II, of Lafayette, CA, and Kelli M. (Mitchell) Shaull-Babcock of Clyde; stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Ralph) Swaisgood of Fremont; grandchildren: Zachary, Alexandra, and Mackenzi Shaull-Babcock; great grandchildren: Declan Shaull, Zelda Shaull-Flahiff, and Oakleigh Colvin; step grandchildren: Christopher, Alivia, Samuel, Theodore, Paisley, and Blakely; siblings: Michael (Judy) Shaull of Huron, Jon Shaull of Port Clinton, Sue (Jack) Linthicum of Clyde, and Beth (Al) Weyer of Clyde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Rodney is preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen LaVonne Shaull; and brothers: Hal E. Shaull, Jr, and Chuck Shaull.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 10:00am at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, 8952 OH-101, Clyde, OH 43410.
