Roberta Ann Ward, 83, of Marblehead passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at The Willows at Bellevue. She was born February 1, 1942 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of George T. and Beatrice (McClure) Cook.
Roberta, a lifelong beautician who attended beauty school in Cleveland, was a dedicated member of the Eagles 490 Auxiliary, Port Clinton Elks, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bellevue. She had a passion for baking and cooking, and her handmade cutouts will be cherished by her grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother, Roberta devoted countless hours to supporting her family's endeavors. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters, eagerly anticipating their annual Christmas shopping weekends, and found joy in being by the water and on boats.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mason “Bill” Ward, whom she married June 9, 1962 in Bellevue; three daughters: Tamra (Jeff) Hay, Kimberly (Michael) Sharlow, and Deborah (Craig) Winke; and 6 grandchildren: Michaela Sharlow, Turner Hay, Kamryn Sharlow, Sydni Rodriguez, Gracyn Hay, and Cooper Winke.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her twin brother Robert Cook and brother, Richard Cook.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 11 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
