Robert C. Weller Sr.

Robert C. Weller Sr. age 81 of Flat Rock passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 at the Clyde Gardens.  He was born Sep. 24, 1940 in Bellevue the son of the late Ivan & Alice (Rohlf) Weller.

Bob was employed at France Stone Company for 40 years.

He was a member of, Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Flat Rock.  He was a devoted husband and father; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave him great joy.  He always had a joke and a smile to share. He was a n avid Cleveland Browns, Indians and OSU fan.  Bob supported the Native American Dakota Tribe through donations.  In his younger years he enjoyed and exceled in basketball.  His family will always remember his love of Hershey Bars, Frito’s and Pop Sickles.

 He is survived by his daughters; Kelly (Cletus) Snay of Norwalk, Koleen Weller of Bellevue, Kris (Mark) Jennings of Bellevue, grandchildren; Brian Treat, Sarah treat, Torri (Wesley) Reineck, Chad (Deserae) Gray, Amber (Eli) Beckley, Jessy Greene, Halle McGinn, Brandi (Ethan) Rollingson, Braden Mellon, Jordan Mellon, Chad Snay Corey Snay, 22 great grandchildren, daughter in law; Brenda Weller, and sister Sherril (John) McClain of Clyde.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Gail Ebersole Weller whom he married Jan 7, 1958 in Bellevue, daughter; Robin Treat, son; Robert Weller Jr., sister; Janice Jenkins, and brother Edward Weller.

Friends will be received Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021 from 1 – 7 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, 11:00 am, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 7500 CR 29, Flat Rock, OH 44828.  Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
