Robert Salyers

Robert Salyers, 58, of Bellevue, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born in Sandusky, Ohio, on February 20, 1967, to Emerson and Edna (Rice) Salyers.

Robert was known as a fun, kind, and big-hearted man who was always ready to offer encouragement and support to others. He had a love for cooking and enjoyed listening and dancing to country music. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by many.

He is survived by his brothers, James (Vicki) Kelly, Michael (Roberta Sassaman) Salyers, and Kenneth (Alice) Salyers; his sister, Linda Hamons of Bellevue; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his partner, Larry West; his sister, Marcia O’Neil; brothers-in-law, Melvin Hamons and John O’Neil; his niece, Heather Salyers; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial dinner will be held on Sunday, November 30 from 1-5 p.m. at the Bellevue Masonic Hall, 1108 Castalia Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses, or to a Go Fund Me established in Robert’s name: Robert Salyer's Funeral Fund.
