Robert W. Bigler, Jr., age 73 of Clyde, passed away Wednesday May 27, 2020 at his home. Robert was born December 17, 1946 in Salem, NJ the son of the late Robert Bigler, Sr. and Betty Venable (Hogate).
Robert worked at Heinz for over 40 years, and he loved spoiling his grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling and meeting his friends at Frisches Big Boy. He also loved to play poker with his family, lottery tickets, and getting kicked out of youth sports defending his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Vickie Bigler, whom he married October 22, 1982 in Fremont; 6 children: Robert (Jasmine) Bigler III of New Jersey, Brian Bigler of Delaware, Ida Friant of New Jersey, Nichole (Albert) Ross of Clyde, Amanda Wagner of Clyde, and Donald Bigler of Clyde; 21 grandchildren; and 4 siblings: Richard (Linda) Venable of New Jersey, Linda (Anthony) Gannon of New Jersey, Lorraine Phillips of New Jersey, and Laura Bravo of Texas.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his step-father, Raymond Venable, Sr., and brothers: Raymond Venable, Jr., William Venable, and Norman Venable.
Services for Robert will be held privately.
