Robert Bellard, age 82 of Bellevue, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at The Willows of Bellevue. Robert was born December 17, 1939, in Bellevue the son of the late Allen and Mildred (Jake) Bellard.
Bob was a Bellevue High School Graduate in the class of 1958. He then attended Tiffin University and earned his degree in accounting. He worked at many places over the years, was also a realtor. He was an active member of Seybert United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. He was devoted to his family, attending all his grandchildren’s’ sporting events and activities whenever possible. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and always had one in progress on his table. His sense of humor was well-known, and he always had a joke ready.
His other passion was choral singing. He sang in church choirs from a young age and was a member of the Sandusky Choral Society. When his home church choir was no longer active, he began singing with the Norwalk First UMC choir. He sang with both groups up until the last six weeks of his life.
Bob is survived by his children: Deb (Brad) Agee of Bellevue, Robin Bellard Crumpler of Westerville, OH, and Bob (Rhonda) Bellard of Johnstown, OH; 5 grandchildren: Sarah (Cam) Wilk, Matt Agee, Seth Agee, Zach Crumpler, and Emily Crumpler; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Sue Lenke.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at Seybert United Methodist Church, 442 West Main Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, can be made to Seybert United Methodist Church, the Sandusky Choral Society, or the choir of Norwalk First United Methodist Church.
