Robert Barish

Robert Barish, age 85 of Fremont, OH, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at his home. Robert was born May 18, 1940, in Fremont, the son of the late Sam and Frances (Petrovich) Baresich.

Robert served in the United States Army and remained a proud veteran throughout his life. He was a devoted Catholic and supported many ministries over the years. He enjoyed his regular trips to Wendy’s and spending time on his John Deere tractor. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Robert is survived by his sister, Annie Leiter; nephews: Dennis (Chris) Leiter, Kim Leiter, and Scott (Patty) Leiter; and nieces: Laura (Wayne) Hamrock and Pam (Jeff) Robinson.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Sammy Barish; sister, Mary Lou Barish; nephew, Oakford Leiter, Sr.; and niece, Jenny Barish. 

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
