Ricky L. Turner

Ricky L. Turner, age 71 of Clyde, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home. Ricky was born December 4, 1953, in Monroe, MI, the son of the late Antone and Lola (Pitcher) Turner.

Ricky had a deep love for the Clyde community, especially its youth sports and local parks, where he enjoyed spending time and supporting the next generation. He took pride in maintaining his home, keeping everything in careful order, and found peace in life’s simple pleasures. Whether it was taking short trips to nearby towns or relaxing in his favorite chair on the front porch, Ricky appreciated the quiet moments and simple joys that each day brought. He worked for 30 years at the Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde. 

Ricky is survived by his wife, Cindy (Keegan) Turner of Clyde; children: Adam (Lauren) Turner of Bellevue, and Tonya (Eric) Turner-Ferguson of Fremont; grandchildren: Jacqueline (Chuck) Dendinger, Gabrielle, Sophia, Katelyn, and Ava Turner, Erykah, Luc, Ty, and Chloe Ferguson; great-grandchildren: Charles III and Chandler Dendinger; sister, Beverly Bailey; mother-in-law, Mary Alice Nieset; and siblings-in-law: Randy Keegan, Debbie (Steve) Messer, Steve Keegan, Scott (Susie) Keegan, and Michelle (Grant) Larkins.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Cecil Keegan, Jr., and brother-in-law, Tim Keegan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2-4:00pm at the Clyde Shelter House in the Clyde Community Park. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ricky's honor to Clyde Back Door Food Pantry, 803 W. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410, or to the donor's favorite charity respectfully.
