Richard Milleson

Richard Milleson, age 91 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. Richard was born May 3, 1931, in Castalia, the son of the late Clifford and Florence Milleson (Moyer).

Richard was a wonderful family man, and those who knew him know the passion he had for cars. He enjoyed wrenching on cars, going to races, and sharing his passion with family and friends. He took many trips to the Norwalk Raceway with his friend Greg and to Ideal Bakery with his friend Fred and cousin Sel.

Richard is survived by his children: Keith (Carrie) Milleson of Germantown, Dennis (Holly) Milleson of Gibsonburg, and Pamela (Lee) Sumner of Clyde; grandchildren: Deanna Sumner, Lee Sumner Jr, Angela Sumner Weaver, Amanda (Tony) Mascotti, Michael Milleson, Rachael (Zach) Hedges, Wesley (Lauren) Milleson, and Miranda (Danny) Cane; great-grandchildren: Cody Sumner, Kayla (Kyle) Stanley-Sager, Shae Sheffer, Danielle Sumner, Grace Sumner, Samantha Weaver, Preston Mascotti, Alaina Mascotti, Colin Conley, Oliver Cane, Greyson Milleson, and Adalynn Milleson; great-great-grandchildren: Willow Sumner, Aurora Sumner, and Emerson Foos; and sister: Patricia Milleson of Olmsted Falls, OH.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Milleson (Phillips), whom he married March 3, 1956 in Bristolville, OH; son, Kenneth Milleson; great-grandson, Kade Sumner; and siblings: Willard, Henry, Mary, Donald, Louis, Adelbert, Robert, Harvey, and Walter.

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 10:00am until a funeral service beginning at 11:00am at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
