Richard D. Martin

Richard D. Martin, age 69 of Green Springs, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his home. Richard was born July 15, 1953, in Fremont, the son of the late Ballard and Norma (Jones) Martin.

Richard is survived by his children: Rick Martin, Jr. of Newport News, VA, and Melissa Martin of Newport News, VA; 7 grandchildren; brother, Rudy Martin of Sandusky; stepchildren: Harold “E.J.” Ramey of Green Springs, Fred Baker of Clyde, Leta Faye Conrad of Burgoon, OH, and Louise Cook of Clyde; 17 step grandchildren; and 18 step great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, June (Ramey) Martin, whom he married March 13, 1993, in Clyde; son, Denny Scriver; daughter, Tammy Butturff; and brothers: Russ, Roy, and Ron Martin.

Friends will be received Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 2-7pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 12pm, noon, at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, 8952 OH-101, Clyde, OH 43410.
