Richard J. Miller

Richard J. Miller, age 82 of Clyde, OH, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Valley View Nursing Home in Fremont, OH. Richard was born March 25, 1942, in Bucyrus, OH, the son of the late John and Fern (Cordary) Miller. 

Richard graduated from Upper Sandusky High School. He worked for John Deere for many years and eventually at Whirlpool until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing and was very active playing the leagues at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. 

Richard is survived by his daughter, Melonie Holdren; son, Rickie Miller; step-daughters: Sherrie Greulich and Stacey Slone; grandchildren: Brandie, Savannah, and Tyler; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Kuhn; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Linda Krotzer, Mary Phillips, Zella Cramer, Charles “Bob” Johnson, and Paul Johnson. 

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie (Johnson) Miller; son, John Miller; brother, Andrew Miller; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Daniel Weirick, Carol Edgerly, Pat Weirick, Marge Derr, Lois Wikel, and Johnny Weirick. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00am at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Richard and Bonnie will be inurned together at McPherson Cemetery.
