Raymond Meadows

Raymond Junior Meadows, age 79, of Bronston, KY passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Raymond was born on October 30, 1940 in Bronston, KY to the late James William Meadows and Rhoda Eula Sullivan Meadows.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.  Raymond was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, The Seniors Coalition and Students for Life.  He was a supporter of veterans, AmVets and the Wounded Warrior Foundation.  Raymond was an avid Trump supporter and member of the Republican National Committee.   He was the Kentucky Donor of the year for the support of America’s service men and women.  He enjoyed gardening and working on cars in his spare time.

He is survived by two sons, Brian Nicholas Meadows of Tiffin, OH and Jason William Meadows of Fremont, OH; five grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Meadows, Kayla Marie Meadows, Amber Renee Meadows, Austin James Meadows and Greyson William Meadows.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Meadows.

Friends will be received Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10:00am until a funeral service beginning at 11:00am at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
