Randy McGrady

Randal McGrady, 54, of Bellevue passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.  He was born March 30, 1971 in Frankfurt, Germany the son of Leonard and Barbara (Neuman) Spitler.  

Randy had a passion for creating, which he expressed through woodworking and whittling. He also enjoyed building things, working on cars, and taking long road trips.

He is survived by wife, Danya (Boles) McGrady, whom he married on April 18, 1994; four children: Mitchell (Natalie) McGrady, Joe (Felicia) McGrady, Dave Davenport, Kasie McGrady; 5 grandchildren: Amelia, Austyn, Foster, Kairi, and Charlie; brother, Patrick McGrady; sister and best friend, Tanya Spitler; Nieces: Ashlynn "God-daughter" (Mackie) Bright, Tristen Tyree, Bailey Beggs, Legend & Paige McGrady; Nephews: Devin (Mandie) Tyree, Legion McGrady, Mathew & Jake Chill; best friend & road dog, Alan Blodgett (AB);  and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins

Randy is preceded in death by his parents; son, Braxton McGrady; sister, Terra Spitler; and cousin, Tammie (Lewis) Lemmon.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 2 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 6 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
