Ralph A. Kiser, age 73 of Clyde, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at The Willows at Bellevue. Ralph was born June 18, 1946 in Cane Hollow, Kentucky the son of the late Edgar and Cora (Holbrook) Kiser.
Ralph served in the United States Army stationed in Germany and deployed to Vietnam during the Vietnam war. He later worked at Whirlpool for over 35 years in the press room as a die setter. He was a gun enthusiast, member of the NRA, and a 2nd amendment advocate. He enjoyed Clyde sports, especially football, NASCAR, and bluegrass music. He always was following his sons and their Sprint Car racing.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Vivian (Renfro) Kiser, whom he married December 29, 1969 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina; sons: Joe Kiser of Green Springs, Justin (Danicia) Kiser of Clyde, and Jay (Nicole Henry) Kiser of Fremont; grandchildren: Logan Kiser and Mike Ehresman, Lexington Kiser, Lakayla Kiser, Alexandra Kiser, and Landon Kiser; brothers-in-law: Clayton Bentrim, Harold Renfro, Noland (Cheryl) Renfro, Juan Renfro, and Kevin Renfro; sisters-in-law: Velma (Charlie) Lee, and Vera (Randy) Stalnaker; numerous nieces and nephews; and his furry friends: Dixie, Cinnamon, and Buddy.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Bentrim; brothers-in-law: Claude “Allen” Renfro, Vernon Renfro, Roland and Yvonne Renfro; and his mother and father-in-law: Claude and Dicie Renfro; and nephew, Paul Renfro.
Friends will be received Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 1:00pm until a funeral service beginning at 6:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
