Paul R. Weidinger

Paul Weidinger, 75, of Reedtown passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born September 4, 1946, in Willard, Ohio the son of Richard O. and Helen C. (Ruffing) Weidinger. 

Paul worked as an agronomist and sales manager for many years at Sunrise Co-op.  He enjoyed farming, tractor pulls, hunting, and loved to play a good prank when possible.  He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and especially his granddaughter, Gwendolyn.

He married Shirley Rose (Brandt) Weidinger on August 27, 1966, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin; She survives along with their son, Chris (Jody) Weidinger of Reedtown; granddaughter, Gwendolyn Weidinger; and brothers, Mark W. (Martha) Weidinger of Bellevue and Alvin R. (Karen) Weidinger of Reedtown.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m.   A funeral Mass will begin on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church, 16209 County Road 46, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Reed Assumption Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice or the Reed Assumption Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
