Patsy J. Aldrich, age 93 of Clyde, OH, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home. Patsy was born March 17, 1933, in Clyde, the daughter of the late Hubert Thomas and Hazel Phoebe (Klinger) Jennings.
Patsy was a woman who never slowed down, living life with a constant sense of purpose and energy. She loved baking for those around her and found simple joy in taking walks, always keeping herself active and on the move. Growing up and working on the farm shaped her strong work ethic and independent spirit, traits she carried with her throughout her life. In 1951, she made history as the first homecoming queen at Clyde High School, a moment that reflected her vibrant personality and the admiration of those around her.
She was known for being a little feisty, never afraid to speak her mind, yet her strength was always matched with a deep and unwavering love for her family. Above all else, Patsy’s greatest joy and her number one priority was caring for her family, ensuring they were supported, loved, and always put first.
Patsy is survived by her two daughters: Joni (Denny) Mussell and Vickie (Jim Risner) Aldrich, both of Clyde; grandchildren: Brandon (Ann) Mussell, Herbert (Niki) Aldrich, Kendra Klos, Brittany Mussell, Rusty (Jackie) Aldrich, Dusty (Becky) Aldrich, Brynna (John) LaForce, Dayle Aldrich, and Myles Aldrich; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Joe Jennings of Clyde; and special family members Cara Aldrich of Lima and Julie Lundin of Lima.
In addition to her parents Patsy is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Aldrich, whom she married December 6, 1952; sons: Herbert S. Aldrich and Mark R. Aldrich; great-grandson, Easton Aldrich; and sister, Cleobelle Grace Slotto and daughter in-law Cindy (Caudill) Aldrich.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 10:00am until 12:30pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
