Patrick Leber

Patrick Lester “Cowboy” Leber, 80, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born December 1, 1942 the son of Lester and Roseta (Boss) Leber in Castalia.

He was a graduate of York High School.  After graduation he worked at Johnson Controls and several trucking companies throughout the years including his last employer, Hartley Trucking. 

Patrick loved his farm and caring for his horses and animals.  He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.  He cherished the time he was able to spend with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews teaching them how to build.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Regina (Lewis) Leber; daughters, Rhonda Mulligan and Krista (Casey Gowitzka) Leber; sons, David (Angie) Leber and Kyle Leber; 16 grandchildren: Chris (Erin) Mulligan, Brianna Mulligan, Zach, Tyler and Sierra Leber, Tre Leber, Serenity and Elijah Gowitzka; great granddaughter, Mikayla Mulligan; and siblings: Mike Leber, Linda Kaufman, Tom (Sue) Leber, and Steve (Tamela) Leber.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barb Leber; children: Karen and James Leber; and first wife, Janet (Hill) Leber.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at noon at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
