Patricia A. DeVault

Patricia A. DeVault, 83, of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.  She was born August 17, 1934 in Cleveland, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Viola (Rose) Oyster. 

She was a member of the Bellevue Assembly of God where she also cleaned.  She was a volunteer at the Bellevue Elementary School and worked for Flat Rock Homes as a housekeeper.

She married Howard W. DeVault on November 28, 1953 in Bellevue; He preceded her in death.

Patricia is survived by her three children: Patricia Anne (Mickey) Phillips of Elyria, Vicky DeVault of Bellevue, and Charles Douglas (Gulshan) DeVault of San Jose, California; Grandchildren: Amanda Thompson, Michele Thompson, Daniel (Katie Perry) Alafita III, Charles Alafita, David Alafita, Ken DeVault, Maya DeVault, Leyla DeVault, and Emily DeVault; great-grandchildren: Kendra Wampler, Adam Wampler, and Rowan Alafita, Josalyn Zeller, Nenah Johnson; and brother in law, Ken DeVault of Fremont.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Oyster; brothers-in-law: Donald and Richard DeVault; and sisters-in-law: Mae Dressel and Dora Fay.

Friends will be received Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A funeral service will be officiated on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bellevue Assembly of God, 770 Kilbourne St., Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.

Memorials can be made to the Bellevue Assembly of God, Flat Rock Homes, or the donor’s favorite charity.
