Nancy Woodard

Nancy Woodard, 78, of Norwalk passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Firelands Regional Medical Center.  She was born May 28, 1947 in Parkersburg, West Virginia the daughter of Paul and Mary (Hamrick) Williams.  

Nancy worked as an accountant for most of her life.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending her downtime by the pool.

She is survived by her two sons, Kevin (Donna) Sears of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and Tory (Jackie) Woodard of Bellevue; stepchildren: Connie (Kit) Nelson of Bellevue, Martin (Jody) Woodard of Bellevue, and Jay (Leah) Woodard of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren: Brittany, Jake, and Miles; 6 step grandchildren: Jordan, Jeremy, Marcus, Trent, Shelby, and Brooklynn; and 6 great grandchildren: Carter, Colten, Trey, Carter, Micah, and Oakley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry N. Woodard, who she married on May 4, 1974 in Bellevue; son, Stephen B. Sears and grandson, T.J. Woodard.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Private Interment will be held at Sandhill Cemetery.
