Nancy Lou (Collins) Tyree

Nancy Lou Tyree, age 79 of Green Springs, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Nancy was born August 5, 1942 in Whitesburg, KY, the daughter of the late John and Parthene Collins.

Nancy loved nothing more than the Lord and her family. She enjoyed yellow roses and singing Gospel songs. On October 23, 1962, Nancy married her soulmate and best friend, Henry Tyree. Together they enjoyed 60 years of marriage.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Henry Tyree of Green Springs; children: Delena Rose (Joe) Magers of Republic, Randy Lee (Miranda) Tyree of Longview, TX, Ricky Lane (Madeline) Tyree of Republic, and Wesley Allen (Valerie) Tyree of Green Springs; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings: Eli Merrill Collins of Belleville, MI, and Betty Sue Collins-Adams of Tatum, TX.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Henry Tyree, and siblings: William Burniss Collins, John Collins, Jr., Dorothy Sexton, and Bertlass Collins.

Friends will be received Monday, April 4, 2022 from 2-8:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
