Nancy (Cooner) Salyer

Nancy Salyer, age 78 of Clyde, OH, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at The Willows of Bellevue, OH. Nancy was born January 1, 1947, in Sandusky, OH, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Betty (Depler) Cooner.

Nancy was an avid reader who found joy and comfort in the pages of a good book. In her younger years, she embraced the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing. She had a true gift for gardening, tending to her flowers with care and pride. Nancy was also an excellent cook, known for preparing delicious meals that brought family and friends together around the table. Her talents, warmth, and love of life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her children: Lynn (Phillip) Farrar of Clyde and Carl “Todd” (Tina) Earhart, Jr. of Havana, FL; step-sons: David (Kelly) Salyer of Sandusky, and Tadd (Linda) Osborne of Sandusky; 2 grandsons; 6 step-grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; several step-great-grandchildren; siblings: Jeff (Patti) Cooner of Clyde, and Cheryl (Dave) Burdette of Clyde; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husbands: Orville Osborne and  Charles “Dave” Salyer; brother, David Cooner; step-daughter, Connie Salyer; and step-son, Kenneth Osborne.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 11:00am at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 1793 W McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410.
