Mildred M. Molnar, age 88 of Perrysburg, OH, formerly of Clyde, OH, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Glass Peaks Senior Living in Toledo, OH. Mildred was born November 24, 1937, in Plankton, OH, the daughter of the late Jacob and Ethel (Barnes) Price.
Mildred was the heart of her family and the greatest mother, grandmother, and “Gigi” anyone could ask for. Family was everything to her, and nothing brought her more joy than having loved ones gathered around her table. She loved to cook, and everyone knew there was always a delicious meal waiting at her home. From her garden harvests to fruits and vegetables from the season, Mildred canned just about everything and took pride in providing for those she loved.
She was incredibly talented with her hands and had a gift for making a house feel like a home. Mildred loved sewing and was even skilled at upholstering furniture. She found great happiness in gardening, whether tending to beautiful flowers or growing food for her family. She also had a special eye for decorating, and her family often joked that every visit to her house meant the furniture had been rearranged once again. Mildred’s love for roosters was well known, and at one time she even proudly decorated her kitchen with rooster wallpaper. Above all else, Mildred will be remembered for the warmth, love, and care she poured into her family each and every day.
Mildred is survived by her children: Vicki Pacholek of Sylvania, Daniel (Lisa) Gooding of Clyde, and Denis (Mindy) Gooding of Galveston, TX; grandsons: Anthony (Rachael) and Steven (Kimberly); 4 well loved great-grandchildren; and step-daughters: Elizabeth Martz, Mary Gordon, Judy Kinney, and Tammy Molnar.
In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Gooding; second husband, John Molnar; daughter, Valarie Gooding; son, David Gooding; brothers: Leonard and Delton Price; and sister, RuthAnn Price.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4-7:00pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Block Cemetery.
