Mildred Jacobs

Mildred “Millie” Louise Jacobs went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Briar Hill, North Baltimore, OH. She will be joining her husband Tom of 67 years, who passed away October 30, 2022.

Millie was born in Sterns, KY on November 13, 1935, to the late Lawrence and Gertie (Davis) Hammock. Millie loved and enjoyed reading and studying the word of God. She traveled with “Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames” Throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, bringing lost souls to Jesus. Millie also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and genealogy. She worked at G.E. and Whirlpool, and later retired from Circon-ACMI.

Millie is survived by her 5 children: Larry (Diane) Jacobs of Tiffin, OH, Ed (Robin) Jacobs of Tiffin, OH, Cyndi (Mike) Bucher of North Baltimore, OH, Jane (Robert) Williamson of Cincinnati, OH, and Jeff (Bridget) Jacobs of Wellborn, FL; sister, Norma Jean Redmen-Kidd of Florida; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Millie is preceded in death by 3 brothers: Ed, Jim, and Donald Hammock; and sister, Mary Gadberry.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at Noon at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl, Bellevue, OH 44811. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
