Michael J. Rosa

Michael James Rosa, 37, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 in Huron, Ohio.  He was born July 24, 1985, in Toledo, Ohio the son of James Rosa and Susan (Ruffing) Rosa. 

Mikey enjoyed playing tennis, skiing, and billiards.  He had a big heart, and his contagious sense of humor always accompanied his infectious laugh.  He loved to be with his family and had many friends whom he always prioritized to stay in touch with.  His constant shadow was his cat, Jinx. His hugs were the best ever and sarcasm was like his second language. 

He is survived by his father, James Rosa of Warren; mother, Sue Rosa of Vermilion; siblings: Christopher (Stacey) Rosa, Jessica (Nick) Markley, Stephanie (Jeff) Ozimek, Matthew (Alyssa Ford) Rosa, and Rachael Rosa; nieces and nephew: Cameron, Cora, Gabriella, Peyton, Ella, and Jackson; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Mikey’s constant supporter in every way was his Mom.  They had a special relationship that began before his birth and continued every day.  Mikey’s family appreciates the loving support Mom has provided to the entire family.

Mikey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Marcie Ruffing and June Rosa.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 11:40 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  A mass will begin at Noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue.
