Michael Peavy

Michael Peavy, 63, of Bellevue passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at his home.  He was born April 24, 1956 in Mobile, Alabama the son of Elson Ray Peavy and Lois Hayles-Taylor.

Michael served in the United States Army and worked as a truck driver until his retirement.  He loved to be outdoors and some of his favorite activities were fishing and hunting.  He also enjoyed working on cars, cooking, and learning new theories of science.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Wilson) Peavy of Bellevue whom he married July 2, 2010 in Mobile, Alabama; two sons: Dale Ray Peavy and Michael Shane Peavy; step-son, Ronald Cress; sisters, Janet (Mark) Mclain and Penny Robison; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 15, from 9 a.m. until a funeral service with Military Honors begins at 11 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
